Microsoft Windows Media Player is een mediabibliotheek die wordt gebruikt om video en audio af te spelen en om afbeeldingen te bekijken. De applicatie wordt geleverd met het Windows-besturingssysteem.
Windows Media Player ondersteunt veel populaire audio- en videoformaten, zoals WMV, MOV, MPEG, WAV, ASF, MIDI en AIFF. De speler ondersteunt ook H.264-, Xvid- en DivX-video.
